How are the five electives chosen?
Three come from the listed bank. Two may come from that bank or another current package or accredited course, within the packaging rules.
What this means for your study decision
The elective rules provide some flexibility, but not an unrestricted choice of five subjects. Three must come from the listed bank; the other two can use the permitted wider sources while fitting the role and qualification level.
A provider may set its own elective combination. Ask which units are fixed, whether any choice is available, and how the selected units relate to the work you hope to learn.
What should you compare?
- Three listed-bank units
- Two flexible units
- Fit to role and qualification level
What remains unconfirmed?
Whether students have a choice
What can you do next?
Ask which electives are fixed and how they fit your goals.
