Does graduation automatically register me as a nurse?
No. Completing the qualification, attending an approved program and receiving individual registration are separate decisions.
What this means for your study decision
There are two distinct decisions: completion of the training program and approval of an individual registration application. The program must have the relevant accreditation and NMBA approval, and the graduate must satisfy registration requirements.
Check the exact approved program before paying. Later, follow Ahpra’s graduate application instructions for personal evidence. An enrolment offer, student registration or completion certificate does not establish that your practitioner registration has been granted.
