How many units will I study?
The Diploma has 25 units: 20 core and five electives. Ask for all codes and the provider’s chosen electives.
What this means for your study decision
Twenty core units are compulsory and five electives complete the 25-unit qualification. A short course or an isolated nursing unit is not the same product as the full Diploma.
Compare exact codes against the core list and the elective rules. Ask how teaching subjects map to assessment and the completed transcript, and when practical evidence is gathered. The national elective bank is a set of options, not the five units every provider teaches.
What should you compare?
- 20 compulsory units
- Five electives
- Completed unit transcript
What remains unconfirmed?
Provider elective selection, teaching sequence and assessment arrangements.
What can you do next?
Request the full unit and assessment map for your intake.
